An exquisite motoryacht with character, Scarlet Sophia is a “standout” on the waterways. She is a rare opportunity for the yachtsman who appreciates vintage yacht quality!

The GREBE name is regarded as one of the premier builders of wooden motor yachts. The Henry C.Grebe & Company yard in Chicago Illinois was the successor to the Great Lakes Boat Building Company founded in 1915 in Milwaukee and moved to Chicago in 1921. Grebe was famous for his introduction of the flushdeck style of luxury motor yacht. His signature curved railings and design throughout the yacht were unique. Grebe built their last boat in 1970, but did not close until 1994. Scarlet Sophia is hull # 196 in a roster of 200 builds. The owners have maintained and updated the vessel to the highest standards, and have regularly serviced & upgraded when and where necessary.
