Filucy Bay, located at the southeast end of the Key Peninsula, is one of the most beautiful and protected anchorages in South Puget Sound. Much of the shoreline here is wooded. The town of Longbranch is little more than a cluster of homes. In early spring, the haunting music of loons can be heard over the still waters; when the weather is clear, Mt. Marina perks: laundry, shower and … car?
If you haven’t been to the Port of Kingston Marina in a while, you’ll notice an unusual—and popular—new amenity next time you visit.
Look for a small, round white vehicle with an open storage compartment on the back. It’s the port’s zippy little electric car, available for use by anyone staying at the marina.
