You told us about boat names inspired by Greek gods and grandmothers, about handbuilt pocket cruisers and sturdy seiners.

You told us about fishing in the San Juans, boat-camping in the South Sound and the wonderment of being surrounded by a pod of whales. You shared your boating dreams — of spending a summer cruising Alaska, making it to Mexico, crossing the Pacific to French Polynesia.

We asked readers to tell us about their boats for a chance to win a pair of tickets to the Seattle Boat Show, which opens tomorrow and runs through Feb. 1. We appreciated the time all of you took to send in your entries and look forward to running them in the upcoming weeks as part of our My Boat series.

And as promised, everyone whose entry is featured on the site will get one of our highly coveted, not-for-sale-in-any-store-anywhere-on-the-planet Three Sheets Northwest t-shirts! We will be in touch with those lucky folks in the near future.

And the contest winners are (name and boat name):

  • Shane and Lisa Fawkes, Volti Subito
  • Jim Carney, Imrama
  • Brandon and Virginia Ford,  Oceanus
  • Tim Taylor, Chopstick
  • Russ Kendall,  Edna Brady
  • Dave and Pat Hitchcock, Lillian Belle
  • Bruce Kilen, Helios
  • Barret Crabtree, Lady Eileen
  • Jon Lee, Solitude III
  • Tricia Coldren, Muse II
  • Gary Hall and Dina Soda, Solstice
  • John Juliano and Jennifer Severin, Caro Babbo
